Royal Oman Police (ROP) Verified Eye Tests
Ridhwan Opticals has been officially recognized by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) as an authorized center for conducting eye tests for driving license applicants. This verification ensures that individuals seeking to obtain or renew their driving licenses can rely on Ridhwan Opticals for accurate and ROP-approved vision assessments.
As per the new regulations effective from October 1, 2018, Ridhwan Opticals, along with other selected centers, is entrusted with the responsibility to ensure that all drivers meet the necessary visual acuity standards, thereby contributing to road safety in the Sultanate
Vision Test results are valid only for 30 days from the date of recording.

When to get your Eyes Tested
The frequency of getting your eyes tested depends largely on your age.
For children:
6 – 9 months – First eye exam
2 – 5 years – Minimum once a year
6 – 17 years – every 6 months
For adults:
18+ years – Once a year
60+ years – Every 6 months
